Google Wave, very good strategy covering communication and collaboration

Google wave is the combination of Google Mails and Google Docs which results in technology better and let worker integrate their work in same and different projects.

Integrating task to be done by associates in one project while they are using latest and different communication streams is tedious task. Its natural when people are working on project they generate lots of emails, doc, PPT, text files, images, videos In different formats, spreadsheets etc. what a fantastic idea which Google works for we people to work more efficiently by using Google wave our participants could find all the relevant information and all documents produced, regardless of what format they were made in one place.

“In Google Wave you create a wave and add people to it. Everyone on your wave can use richly formatted text, photos, gadgets, and even feeds from other sources on the web. They can insert a reply or edit the wave directly.  “It’s synchronized rich-text editing, where you see on your screen nearly instantly what your fellow collaborators are typing in your wave.

Google Wave is well suited for instant messages as for persistent content — it allows for both collaboration and communication. You can also use “playback” to rewind the wave to see how it evolved.”

Conversation wave threads

The Google Wave is very much like Gmail, with your contacts in the left column. The centre column is your the Wave inbox, where you edit, update, add and find a list of threads added to the project, all indicated with a picture of the person having made the relevant thread.

While clicking on wave threads and you will see all the emails and documents included in that thread. You may respond to this conversation, not only by writing a new email, but by adding a new document, picture or other file. If your friend is online you may even chat in real time.

Feature: History playback

You can invite a new associate who might be your team player in your project or any friend to this “conversation” by dragging their face or icon into the wave area.

If anybody wants to take part, they may playback the whole exchange of information by clicking on the playback button. This playback tool rewinds the whole process for them, and lets them see who added what information at what time. If you want to, you can publish the whole wave or conversations as a public web page on the web.
