Michael  Jackson gone too soon.  25 June 2009 was unexpected day for search engines and internet users.

The all powerful Google and their tightly packed server farms took a massive hits on 25 June , when the news about Michael Jackson suffering a cardiac arrest and ultimately passing away broke. As CNN and News.com shows, Google was displaying one of those Google “We’re Sorry” pages to searches trying desperately to find out the fate of Michael Jackson. Even Search Engine Land was suffering from the news, as the tweet confirms. Yahoo news article, Keyphrase “Michael Jackson rushed to hospital,” received 800,000 clicks in 10 minutes, making it their highest-clicking story ever. Yahoo News recorded 175 million page views on Thursday, its fourth-highest total. A blog post in Yahoo Music has received more than 21,500 comments. Twitter was a breeding ground of Jackson-related searching and conversation. Twitter co-founder Biz Stone told the Los Angeles Times that there were nearly 5,000 Jackson-related tweets per minute on Thursday afternoon. “We saw an instant doubling of tweets per second the moment the story broke. This particular news about the passing of such a global icon is the biggest jump in tweets per second since the U.S. presidential election.”

It is with a deep sense of loss that our Michael Jackson was died-he is the legendary King of Pop to greater glory.  Undoubtedly,  the greatest entertainer to have ever graced the surface of this earth, king of entertainment, a total artist, creator, inventor, genius, humanitarian, icon, dancer, trailblazer, redefined music, benchmark against which other musicians are measured, a standard, one of the most famous man on earth, powerful, misunderstood and exploited by those he trusted, a force,  performer, a king, brought joy to millions of homes for decades, a gift to the world, a rarity, father, hero,  made culture accept people of color because his talent was too great to ignore.

Our Michael is an energy and energy is indestructible, it only re-manifests itself in a different form, though Michael is no longer here with us in the physical, your legacy and songs live on forever. …..we love you King Micheal!!!.  Michael Jackson was a gift to the world and nobody or controversies can take that away from you. What you gave to the world was your talent and that is what we embrace not your shortcomings. We pray that God in his infinite mercy grant you eternal peace and rest.
